Shell Beach

A zillion white shells between your toes and shells for as far as you can look around you. It’s hard to imagine that such places really exist. It’s pure magic, especially very early in the morning when the lagoon is mesmerized with soft light and there’s nobody else around…

Pleated maxi skirts like this are a favourite road trip attire of mine, since they’re both comfortable and light. Many come in a fabric that doesn’t wrinkle, which is ideal when you’re spending many hours on the road. I love the mustard colour, reminding me that I need one in an olive green colour too. Seems to match the Australian road-trip theme perfectly. I feel like nothing I write does justice to this place, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking. I hope you’ll feel some of the magic of this extraordinary place through your computer screen…
