Front Twist Skirt

The best thing about dressing for transitional weather in my point of view, is being able to wear leather jackets (or coats in general) with bare legs. There’s just something about it! I wore this look last week in town and I have to admit though that I swapped the heels for flats after not too long.

Wearing: Quilted leather biker jacket (H&M), White structured top (Zara), Chance front twist skirt (similar here and here), Diane Von Furstenberg heels, Black chain bag, Layered statement necklace

I’ve been really into this skirt with asymmetric cut and front twist detail ever since I got it two weeks ago. I actually like the knot detail at the front so much that I’m now on the hunt for garments with a similar detail. I’m sure it will be a great wardrobe staple. So far I’ve found this one and this one. Which one do you prefer? I’ve paired the skirt with a simple structured white top, a quilted leather biker jacket and silver metallic heels from DVF. I also layered two silver statement necklaces instead of one for that extra ‘wow’ effect.

I’ve been feeling unwell with a sore throat and a cold the past few days. Why do the two always seem to come together? I can’t decide which one is worse, but I hope it will pass soon. For now I’m taking it easy drinking lots of herbal tea and trying to not stay on my laptop for too long after coming home from work…
