Cobalt Scuba Skirt

There is just something about twirly midi skirts that makes me feel so incredibly happy when I’m wearing them. If I’d have to choose one item to wear for the rest of my life, it would be a midi skirt without a doubt; so feminine and elegant!

I couldn’t wish for a city more photogenic than Perth is; finding good spots to take pictures is never difficult. Maybe it also helps that I’m still seeing Perth through the eyes of a foreigner and tourist. It’s only when you’re walking around in a city with those eyes that you’ll appreciate every little spot. In the middle of the city, only meters from the river side, there is a park right next to all the sky high buildings and it’s almost too beautiful to be true (see picture 4 for proof). Imagine that with the bonus of colourful parrots flying over and a lovely 25 degrees with sun. I couldn’t ask for more on a early Monday morning.

I’ve purchased most of the items I’m wearing in this outfit very recently and I feel like each piece really adds something to my wardrobe, just like it should. These barely-there sandals with silver straps have a sleek look and are the kind that go with everything you pair them with. Kind of perfect when you don’t have time to reconsider your outfit. The skirt is something I’ve been eyeing to buy since a while and I actually doubted between the cobalt one I’m wearing and this peach one. I’m now tempted to buy the peach one too, because I’ve found that this skirt isn’t only beautiful and exactly my style, it’s also comfy and easy to maintain (barely needs ironing) and that last reason is often something that the persuades me to buy more colours of the same item. You’ve seen the white cable knit I’m wearing before in this post. Can you believe that I bought at a local supermarket? Never expected that those clothing departments would offer anything good, but I can honestly say that the inverse is true.

I hope you like the pictures as much as I had fun shooting them! X
