My Personal Diary

What are you looking at?

1. Most delicious cappuccino in town. Or maybe I love it so much because of the chocolate that they serve with it?
2. Having a tea at a lovely place in town. Love the interior and their huge choice of different cakes.
3. Watching the sunset last weekend.
4. Miss my lovely friends. This picture was taken at our last night out in Amsterdam.
5. Homemade pizza! Wondering what the green stuff is? It's Lebanese herb mix called 'Zaater' and it's delicious.
6. My everyday eye-makeup with brown eyeshadow and a subtle eyeliner.
7. Outfit which never made it to the blog wearing one of my favorites; the silver cardigan from H&M.
8. I still have 4 boxes with clothes and shoes unpacked, due to the lack of space. Yesterday I was in a dressing crisis and decided to go trough the boxes and found these pretty shoes which definitely deserve to be worn more. I'm happy that I will soon move to my new house where I have plenty of space to store all my stuff. Yay!

Last day of july

A preview of tomorrows outfitpost. Later today I will share a new picture diary with you, because the last days I took some great shots here and there. Today it has been raining like hell all day, which is fine, because I woke up not feeling well so I spend the whole day watching episodes of The Kardashians. I'm feeling a bit better now, so I started with some bloggerswork like sorting out pictures while sipping from a cup of tea and eating a blueberry muffin.

Silverly Printed

  Ph. H. Mounzer

Good news. We found an apartement! And not just an apartement: we seriously couldn't wish for any better. It's a great space, beautiful rooms and we don't have to do anything about it -like painting-, because everything is well finished off. Moreover, the apartement is at our dream location (the neighbourhood where we are currently living), where we thought it would be impossible to find something in our price range. What is so good about the location? It's in the middle of shopping streets, restaurants and bars and 10 minutes from the beach. Our only job left is furnishing the house which we planned on doing next weekend, so today I'll check out the Ikea website to gain some ideas about furnishing the house...
Fashion speaking: Like the outfit with my silver cardigan? It's something a bit different than I normally wear, but I think it looks really good. The top I bought last week in Sale here in town, it's asymetrical and I think the print is fun.

Neon & Jacquard

  Ph. H. Mounzer

Some days all you want is something very comfortable to wear, yet I tried to upgrade this comfy outfit with a neon yellow necklace from H&M and a classy white bag. I had a great night yesterday, we went to a bar with a lot of great people I've just met via my boyfriend. I have a bit of a hangover now, so I will take things calm and easy today. We just did some shopping at the market and we'll go outside to have a good lunch somewhere now. Have a good day!

Nelly favorites

Sharing my current Nelly Shoe favorites with you. You might find me boring, choosing four pair of similar heels, but for me the ideal model of heels is a simple model with two straps, simply because they go with everything. I'm not rich, so when buying stuff I will always first consider its versatility. You know I already own a pair of black two straps heels from Zara, see for example here, but when I was still in Holland, I went to a festival in town and screwed up the heel. Shit. So, it's definitely time for a replacement. As you might remember, I joined the Nelly Blog Contest, see here, and a couple of days ago they sent me an email saying that the winner will be announced soon and while waiting, I have a voucher worth €100 to spend at Nelly.com How awesome and generous is that! Will let you know my choices as soon as I placed the order.   Today I'm going to town by myself for the first time and explore the shops to the fullest. Yay!

Silver beauty

  Ph. H. Mounzer

The promised outfit post with my new silver jacket, I'm a big fan; what do you think? Apartement hunting is not going that great yet. For example today, we visited this awesome located apartement a couple of meters from the beach, the space was great as well. But, the weird thing with renting an apartement in Australia is that you're not allowed to change anything, for instance an ugly carpet which was the case in this apartement. Anyway, I don't mind expanding our stay a bit at the current apartement, because the location is awesome.

My Personal Diary

What are you looking at?

1. Eating a pear at the beach, good life!
2. Delicious cupcakes at the market. They had the same cupcakes in miniature size as well, super cute.
3. Chilling out.
4. Every weekend there's a huge veggie and fruit market where we do our grocery shopping. Cheap and the vegetables are super tasty.
5Perth city. The sun was almost going down, so the light was awesome. Isn't the view just amazing?!
6. Having a coffee at a cute bar at the riverside while wearing my silver jacket, will show you the whole outfit in the upcoming post.
7. Ostrisch egg, anyone? My boyfriend wanted to buy one, because he thought it would be ideal to make a huge omelette but I made him change his mind, haha. Maybe I should try it though...
8. Outfit with my favo necklace at the moment. Have the same one in silver as well.
9. Saying hi to the parrots in Kingspark. Parrots are here as common as pigeons are in Europe, but I'm impressed everytime when I discover a different kind or a different colour of parrot. So cool!
10. We went jogging in Kingspark at night, as a reward for our exercise we had this amazing view.

I'm so excited to see that the amount of visitors of my blog increases everyday and to see all the lovely comments. Thank you so much for that, it really encourages me to continue blogging and to take it even more serious. From now I will make my personal diary a returning post on the blog, because I would like to show you more of me and my personal life instead of only outfit and fashion related blog posts. Hope you like it.

Happy girl

Some happy beach pictures wearing a basic but classy bikini from H&M. In the Australian ocean you definitely need a bikini which is tight and strong enough to handle the strength of the waves, because I almost lost my bikini several times. Oops! Now I'm off house hunting again, we have three visits scheduled for today, including one apartment that seems really great on the pictures, so will see.

Lace Love

  Ph. H. Mounzer

Is it obvious that I love lace? You might remember telling you that when I like a particular item very much, I want to buy it in every available colour. And yes, so did I in the case of lace skirts; my wardrobe now contains a turquoise, black and  beige one. I don't think it's boring to have the same item in several colours, because when it's an versatile item, - which I believe lace skirts are- there's an endless amount of ways to combine them and thus buying a particular item in different colours is sometimes only a good investment. Ok, that was enough justifying my obsession with lace skirts.
The blouse, sandals and bag are all sale purchases, so finally my outfit is a very low budget one. I like that!
