In need of sequins

That's a piece of inspiration isn't it? I really love how the sequin skirt is combined with a loose jumper and a metal belt. I've been looking for a gold sequin skirt like this for a while but I didn't found one yet. I saw one at Mango a while ago, if I remember it right, but couldn't find it anymore. So, my question to you: Any idea where I can buy a gold sequin skirt like this?

I'm off to uni, because today it's deadline day. Exciting! After finishing my stuff at uni, I will meet up with my brother for  a coffee and if I find some spare time, I'll check out some shops to treat myself for my hard studying the last weeks. ;)

Showing you some detailshots of my latest rediscovery: the chunky statement necklace. I bought this necklace at H&M last year, but I haven't been wearing it much since. Kinda like how the necklace is a real eyecatcher while wearing it with a white shirt. Enjoy your day!

New Loves

After three weeks waiting, I finally received these gorgeous shoes from nelly.com. Totally love them. It's a simple model with two straps, but the backside is amazing with its studs. Can't wait to wear them, I'm sure they will soon become one of my favorites!

Bleached Jeans

 About 2 years ago I was upset seeing my favorite dark blue jeans fade, so I decided to make a drastic change by bleaching it. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to get rid of the darker spots and didn't like the result, so I never wore it since. A couple of days ago when I was going through my closet I decided that the black jacket and the jeans were actually a pretty good match. So here you go, that's the jeans story. 

 Tonight my country is playing with Germany, an EXTREMELY important match and I'm so damn nervous, but I'll be staying home (poor me) and struggle with my thesis which has to be handed in this friday at noon. Hate deadlines.

Wearing a black leather skirt which I recently bought at the H&M online shop, I think it's a great add to my wardrobe. It's very easy to be overdressed during the day time while wearing a leather skirt, so I tried to "casualize" the look by adding a grey shirt and a blazer. 

Will spend my day with studying - as usual the last couple of weeks -, My deadlines are friday, so right now I'm starting to have a bit of a panick attack. But hey, I guess feeling the pressure is good for my working attitude, as I've been a bit lazy last days. Like my look?

Some orange lips for the occasion. My country is playing its first game for the European Championship 2012 against Denmark tonight. As I'm a huge football fan, I'm extremely excited. Will go to town and watch the game with my friends, it's gonna be fun! What are your plans for today?

Mix it up

Gold and Turquoise: quite a succes combi if you ask me. What do you think? When I bought this skirt, I immediately knew I wanted to wear it with the gold jumper. I think the colours look great together and it really cheers up my mood. Paired the outfit with my Zara heels. To be honest these are the only heels im wearing lately, as they are so easy to match with any outfit. 

I have a fun evening in front of me, which I most definetely deserve after a week non-stop studying. My friend's sister came from Iraq for a holiday, so we are taking her to town tonight for some drinks and at midnight there will be fireworks at the riverside. NICE!

I'm fed up, I can tell you that. For weeks I've been doing nothing but studying and I'm really out of intellectual energy now. (Know that feeling?) Doing my best to stay positive. The bad news is that I have still three weeks to go. The good news is that some really exciting stuff is coming up!

New jewellery

My new jewellery: Like it? I bought them at a lovely shop called 'Secrets of Asia' (in Deventer). The jewellery they sell is all handmade and are silver with natural stones. And good news: They will open a webshop soon. Ofcourse I will let you now as soon as they do, because it would really be worth it to take a look. They have jewellery in different price classes, so it's also affordable for students like me ;). 

Now I'm off to my studies the whole day again. Which is not that bad, because it's raining like hell anyway.

Studded loafers

I have my studded friends quite a while now, but they never made it to the blog. (Far as I remember). They are super comfy and I wear them preferably with bare legs, because then they look the best. I combined the loafers with a metallic silver shirt, high waisted shorts and my beloved leather jacket. Today I spend the morning with studying, then had a little lunchbreak with my photographer friend in town and also made an appointment at the hairdresser for tomorrow. Desperately need the ends to be cut, because they feel so dry right now. Oh, and I made a quick visit to my favorite jewellery shop today, the result is a pair of earrings and two rings. Oops. Will show you them later! Like my look?

Statement necklace Love

Don't you just love these necklaces? I recently ran into this webshop with the most amazing jewellery ever, called www.dannijo.com. I have to say that I absolutely love every single piece they sell. Unfortunately, it's a little bit - a lot - over my budget. I would really love to own one of these necklaces, I'm sure they will bright up every outfit. Lately, strolling around at webshops has become my pleasant daily break from studying. Seriously, it's just so boring to sit at home every single day and spend all your time with writing a thesis and going through the most complicated information. (Why the hell did I chose to study law?!). Sometimes I really think I will go insane. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this while studying, It's just part of the deal I guess. With two weeks left for my deadlines, I really need to speed things up.
I hate stressful times!
