Exactly a year ago

Was looking around in my files and found these pictures which I took at queensday last year. I told you in my last post that this is a national party day and you're supposed to wear orange. Well, I wore black and white, but my nails were orange though. Tomorrow it's queensday and I guess I will stick to a black and white outfit again. I have some new denim shorts and if the weather allows me, I will wear that with a blouse, a jacket and all stars.

Say hello to my favorite silver cardigan again

Due to the weather it was impossible this week to take outfit shots outside, so unfortunately I have to show you these inside pictures. I'm wearing a (faux)leather pants which I bought a year ago in the sale at New Yorker. Combined it with I simple stripey shirt. To bright things up, I added my silver cardigan. When I don't know what to wear I just put on a basic outfit, together with this silver cardigan it always looks great.

I have a quiet weekend in front of me with studying and other useful stuff. Monday I have the day off, in Holland we have a special day called 'Queensday'. It's the birthday of the queen, but in Holland it's used as a national party day. Every town is full with stages where singers and DJ's are performing and everyone is dressed in orange. I will go to Amsterdam to party with my friends. Definitely looking forward to that!

Well, what can I say. Not the best mood and not the best days. It's already april and we have weather here in Holland like it's autumn. Besides the awful weather, work piles up and I feel under pressure by writing my bachelor thesis. I will spare you the details about the subject ;). As I told you, I took these outfit shots yesterday in awful weather conditions - which is obvious by seeing the last picture- so unfortunately not the most beautiful shots. I'm really into this black lace skirt from Mango lately, it's so easy to match. Decided to wear it with a bright blue silk top. I believe this outfit would look way better without the denim shirt and the leather jacket, but here we go again: the weather.

From stylecontainer.nl To fashioncontainer.com

I want to make an announcement, so here we go! I changed my domain name from stylecontainer.nl to fashioncontainer.com. You might wonder why I did that, well it's simple: because I'm writing in English and have visitors from all over the world. Unfortunately, stylecontainer.com was already occupied, so it was an easy step to choose fashioncontainer.com. I acutally think it sounds pretty good, hope you like it too ;). So remember, from now on my blog will carry the name "fashioncontainer.com". Wish you a good night and I will update some outfitshots tomorrow. Don't expect too much of that, because we had some awful weather here today with lots of wind and rain, so taking good outfit shots was definitely not an easy job. 

Neon + Necklace

Bought this necklace yesterday at the H&M Trend department. I think it's a great piece which I will definitely be using a lot. Created a quick look with my silver cardigan and the neon top wich I showed you before. What do you think? Now I'm going to get some sleep, because a long day is waiting for me tomorrow again, with university and work. Hopefully I will be able to take some outfit shots again tomorow with my friend, so stay tuned!

Vegas Volt

Just wanted to show you a picture wearing my favorite lipstick at the moment. Probably some of you can guess which colour it is, as I saw it passing by at many blogs. It's M.A.C Vegas Volt. I'm really crazy about this colour because it gives such a fresh look. Would love to have some more colours to change a little bit, too bad they are a bit pricey! Any recommendations for another colour?

 I should really wear some more colour, so here you go: a bright blue jeans. I have this jeans a couple of months now, but never wore it. (shame on me!). Bought the same jeans also in an orange colour, as they just cost €7 each. I really love this watch, it looks quite similar to the Michael Kors one, dont't you think? The difference is that I just paid €20 for it.

Today

Took this pictures a while ago in the restaurant where I work. (I work in a lovely Cuban restaurant called 'Havana Bay'). I will spend the day doing some studying, will meet up with a friend later and then start work at the restaurant at 6 o'clock. In this picture I'm wearing my favorite skirt at the moment, which I got at Mango. Combined it with a simple white blouse and a necklace. Enjoy your day!

Two-toned pants

Took this outfit pictures not in the ideal weather conditions, it was freezing cold and rainy yesterday. This explains the bad-tempered face expressions in the first couple of pictures ;). I'm wearing my new two-toned pants of H&M. I think they are a great add to my wardrobe. The two toned jeans have the advantage that they  make the legs look slimmer and longer. The pants are a bit short though, I'm not sure if that's because I'm tall or because of the fit, but anyway, I think it looks good. Wearing it with a black silk top and a blazer, which unfortunately I was not able to show due to the weather.

When I saw  this look at the Mango webshop, I instantly fell in love. I want to have every single piece of what Kate Moss is wearing. Love the print of the pants and the interesting fabric of the shirt. What do you think of this look?

Peach blouse

Wanted to take some pictures with my new peach coloured blouse from Primark, so here's the result.  Unfortunately the weather doesn't allow me yet to wear this outside, but I hope that time will come soon. Yesterday I had an exam at uni, it didn't went too good, so I'm a bit stressed about the results. This afternoon I've some spare time and I will take advantage of that by cleaning up my room and organizing my closet.
